Matt Martus PsyD, LLP is a therapist providing psychotherapy and other mental health services to clients since 2001. He focuses much of his practice on individual, couples and family therapy.
Dr. Matt completed his Doctorate from the Michigan School of Professional Psychology and his Masters from the Center for Humanistic Studies. Over the last two decades, he has helped clients address mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, grief, loss and substance abuse. He has worked in a variety of clinical settings. Dr. Martus currently offers a variety of therapy and other mental health services in his private Grosse Pointe Park office.
Dr. Matt’s newest interest in mental health treatment is assisting clients with more brain-based interventions by using various neurofeedback devices. Dr, Martus recently completed training with the Neurofield system as well as AVS, CES, and HEG.
Dr. Matt provides an integrative system of therapy from humanistic, CBT, and analytical training to offer a dynamic, creative, and collaborative process. He often focuses on developing a working understanding of problems and needs in order to encourage the possibility of change and growth. Dr. Martus is currently working with adults, couples, and families who want to improve their skills and make real changes in their lives.
